Our client profile

Small, medium and large businesses that are exposed to the risk of currency fluctuations due to their underlying businesses of importing (purchasing) or exporting (selling) goods and services from or to foreign markets.

Authorisations under our AFS license

FMS provides foreign exchange risk management services to clients on an outsourced basis. The service is governed by a mandate entered into between FMS and every client separately. The mandate will sometimes authorise FMS to make certain decisions on behalf of the client without having to first get an approval. Due to this reason we are classified by ASIC (Australian Securities and Investment Commission) as offering MDA (Managed Discretionary Account) services in those instances. Our authorisation covers our services related to our core business of being a foreign exchange risk management company.
